Groover joins TU as Admissions Associate | People

THOMAS COUNTY, GA - News release from Thomas University

Jonathan Groover of Thomasville recent joined Thomas University as an Admissions Associate. In that role, Groover will recruit students and assist them in the admissions process.

A native of Thomasville, Groover graduated from Brookwood School in 2002. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English from Valdosta State University in 2006. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree at Asbury Theological Seminary.

“For some students, the admissions process can be daunting,” Groover said. “The most rewarding part about my job is helping students through their entire admissions process so they can have a decision made in a timely manner. You can tell they appreciate having someone working closely with them.  More than anything, I enjoy knowing that we are an integral part of helping students fulfill their dreams of having a college education.”

Groover and his fiancée, Cortni Joseph of Valdosta, are planning a November wedding.
