T'ville YMCA launches WHY Campaign | News

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia YMCA launched a community support program this week to help families in need.

The Thomasville Y's WHY program will help kids and their families take advantage of services offered by the organization.

Last year, financial support made it possible for 1,650 kids to have a safe place to go after school.

"In the last couple of years, our local YMCA has subsidized a quarter million dollars in financial assistance for the people in our community and this campaign is just about giving kids and families that opportunity to participate in Y programs," said CEO Tom Everett.
