Rep. Austin Scott visits T'ville | News
THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia Congressman says the government needs to make it easier for you to start a business.
When it comes to how easy it is to start a new business, the World Bank ranks the United States number 13.
Representative Austin Scott says that's not good enough.
That's one issue he talked about with supporters today in Thomasville. "We're down here to listen to people and their concerns and talk with people quite honestly about how we get Americans back to work. The number one issue of peoples mind is jobs."
Scott does not currently represent Thomasville, but Thomas County is being added to his 8th District this year through redistricting.
