The event is part of the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Georgia Reaching Out Worldwide (G.R.O.W.) Program to help increase exports and create jobs.
What: The Georgia Department of Economic Development is hosting an event to connect qualified Thomasville suppliers with international buyers from Brazil, Israel and Mexico on June 18-19, 2012. Participants can attend a seminar led by Vietnam and Chile trade experts followed by one-on-one meetings with international buyers from Brazilian, Israeli and Mexican companies. The event is free. Companies interested in registering for the event and scheduling one-on-one appointments should contact Darlene Huggins.

• Wood products, processed boards, components for construction and furniture, and innovative products
• Outdoor patio and yard equipment, including sun protection products such as fixed or retractable awnings, artificial turf, decking materials, sound equipment, lighting, and barbeque grills
• Solvents and chemicals for food, cosmetics, paints, construction, adhesives and pharmaceuticals
• Outdoor products: window blinds, shades, awnings, ancillary products for artificial turf in parks and gardens
